I teach stained glass workshops, classes, and private lessons all around New York and occasionally over Zoom. I’ve worked with kids, teens, and people of all ages sharing the meditative and calming nature of the tiffany stained glass process. I have a special relationship with private lessons at the Soft Shape studio in Brooklyn. Nearly everyone who has taken a private glass workshop with me has continued on in glass in some way or another.

Home Workshops

During the pandemic, I would take my setup to people’s homes and teach them from the safety of their own living spaces.

Stained Glass at UrbanGlass

I teach workshops, assist with classes, and lead my own private lessons at UrbanGlass located in Fort Green, Brooklyn. Here are some recent student’s works from a 6 week Stained Glass Projects class.

In spring of 2022, I taught a glass box class! These objects turned out so beautiful, I could not have been more proud.

Taking Shape is a 3D stained glass class that explores color, light and form through the creation of abstract glass sculpture using the Tiffany stained glass method. The class is open to beginners or intermediate students who are interested in glass. Each pupil will learn basic glass cutting, cold working with grinders and dremel, copper foil, soldering, and finally the assemblage of said sculpture. In addition, you will be learning some stained glass history, along with a bit of color theory. The goal of this class is to connect students to a new way of thinking about glass sculpture and form taking into account the  stories told throughout history, and find their own way of expression through cold glass.
